Twilight Plains

This image was a challenge — the glow of light pollution from the dairy

below was unavoidable. Yet, instead of taking away, it cast a warm

illumination across the field and the ridge above, shaping the scene in an

unexpected way.

For me, this view carries deep memories. These are the fields where horses

once grazed during my childhood, and where we now spend time with our

dogs. It has become a place of return — where many of my pet portraits

and Milky Way images are created — a familiar plain beneath a timeless sky.
